Time to say farewell to the Maldives, it’s been an amazing experience!…food has been lovely and constant, drinks have mysteriously disappeared from our table each night and we wish our new friends (the crabs, sharks, manta rays, fish, lizards, birds and bats) a long happy life.
Our evening walk down the jetty to see the Manta Rays.
We particularly liked the baby one that does loop the loops!…crazy! Lol
Just thought I’d share some (well, one) example of the flora and fauna in the Maldives.
I think it looks a little like a Catherine wheel. 🤔
I name this ship HMS Bounty, as it always provides plenty and tasty puddings at each and every meal.
Had a little walk to see some of the posh water villas last night and captured the scene… How romantic.
I nearly forgot to post this one…
Just checked into our room, having a look around to see what facilities we have, double bed (not a twin!), Sofa, outside double bed with table and chairs, bathrobes x 2, walk in shower… nice, not bad at all.
Then I spotted these in the wardrobe… his and hers life vests!…we don’t even have a bath!?
Interesting. 🤔
I can’t see any jockeys fitting on these things, or how they would fit a saddle?…or has all the rum gone to my head?
