Terra Firma

It seems I missed uploading a blog post from back in November on our return to the UK.

Anyway, better late than never I guess.

—————

It’s good to be back on terra firma again after a rough crossing from Santander to Portsmouth!

I believe we spent 20 out of the 24 hours lying down in our bunks dosed up on Stugeron, I managed to be up just long enough to shovel a Spaghetti Bolognese down my neck without throwing up, before diving back on the bunk for the looooong crossing back to Portsmouth.

Graffitti

I just found this draft version of a post I started, but never published while we were travelling around Spain. ๐Ÿ˜€

This is all about the graffiti I found which I simply thought looked interesting.

Found the above on our way into Ghent Belgium.

This was on the campsite in Germany near Calw.

All of the above were found on our walk around Lake Zurich in Switzerland.

All of the following were found on our walk around Avignon France.

Well I never…

…but funny!.

I do hope you’ve enjoyed the small updates we provided while on our travels and we hope to provide many more in the future.

All Aboard!

All lined up and ready to go back on the ferry from Santander back to the UK.

So, this is it, our farewell to Espania. ๐Ÿ˜ญ it’s been great and we’ve loved every minute of our wonderful trip together.

I’m sure we shall return at some point in the future though…maybe when it’s warm again. ๐Ÿ˜

Walk Into The Village

We decided to brave the weather and take a walk to the local village this morning Soto De Real which was about 3 km away.

Saw this little car and topiary in a small garden centre which we thought looked a little different and worth stopping for a photo…

Also, found a couple of donkeys in a field…

…I think this one was a bit of a poser though.  ๐Ÿ˜

Finally made it to the village and found a little square with a small coffee house, so …when in Rome…

I didn’t however realise it was an espresso I’d ordered, it wasn’t the worst coffee I’ve ever had, so all good. Lol

When everywhere…

Apparently its quite rare to find a four layer icing cake. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Us being us, we stopped off at a little fruit and veg shop for a couple of apples for the donkeys.

By the time we got back there, they’d gone into another field, so we left them a surprise for when they came back… ๐Ÿ˜

We also found someone training horses which I took a quick snap of…

All in all a pleasent little walk together. ๐Ÿ˜
